What is an automated greenhouse?

An automated greenhouse is a greenhouse equipped with a MyFarm aquaponics system. This aquaponic greenhouse is capable of providing tasty fruit and vegetables every day out of winter for a minimum of means, space, knowledge and human intervention. Probably one of the best ways to make yourself more independent.

The system includes a fish tank and growing towers for 40 plants per m² (leafy vegetables, herbs, strawberries, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, beans, etc.). Fed by an automatic feeder, the fish load the water with nutrients. This nutrient-laden water is pumped to the towers, then returned clean to the fish tank. Fish enjoy perfectly clear water, and plants grow optimally. All that’s left to do is harvest!

An automated system for minimal maintenance

The submersible pump ensures continuous irrigation and supply of nutrients to plant roots. The automatic feeder feeds the fish, while the roof window opens automatically to regulate the greenhouse temperature.

To ensure a clean system, avoid algae and reduce maintenance time to an absolute minimum, the MyFarm system is equipped with a mechanical, biological and UV filter. Fitted with a clogging indicator, it is easy to clean thanks to its crank handle and by-pass function. You can connect it to your garden hose to water your plants with an ultra-rich fertilizer. Finally, two valves make pipe cleaning a snap.

Quality materials and a 95% European product

At MyFarm, quality is everything. The greenhouses we offer, with their aluminum structure and 4 mm float glass walls, are produced in Belgium and are among the very best available. Their baseplate has multiple anchoring points in the ground and can withstand all weathers. The lathes are the culmination of years of research and are produced in our workshop, also in Belgium. The pond is made of solid wood, and the irrigation system is made entirely of food-grade PVC to eliminate any risk of water alteration.
